Tape-In Calculator — Pieces & Packs Needed
Calculate tape-in extension quantities for different coverage levels and head sizes.
Most brands sell packs of 20
Optional
How We Calculate This
This calculator estimates the number of tape-in extension pieces needed based on desired coverage, natural hair density and extension length, then calculates packs needed and fitting time.
The formula
Pieces = Coverage base x Density factor x Length factor
Sandwiches = Pieces / 2 (tape-ins always come in pairs)
Packs = Pieces / Pieces per pack
